The Myles Liam Edouard Foundation, Inc.

No family should face a broken heart alone.

We provide hope, compassion, and meaningful support to families caring for children diagnosed with congenital heart disease — through the hospital stays, the hard days, and everything after.

Founded in memory of Myles Liam Edouard, and in honor of every family walking this same road.

Where This Began

A mother's love, turned into a mission

This foundation was created from a mother's firsthand understanding of what it means to love a child with a broken heart — the emotional weight, the financial strain, and the physical exhaustion that come with navigating congenital heart disease.

Founded in honor of Myles Liam Edouard, we stand beside families during some of their most difficult moments. We offer resources, direct assistance, emotional support, and advocacy — the things that ease the burden of long hospital stays, medical treatments, and the everyday realities of caring for a child with CHD.

Through Myles' legacy, we're building a community where families feel seen, supported, and never alone in their journey.

What We Do

Support that meets families where they are

Every family's journey with congenital heart disease looks different. Our programs are built to flex around that — practical help alongside emotional care.

01

Direct Family Assistance

Help with the everyday costs that pile up during hospital stays — gas, meals, parking, and lodging near the hospital — so families can focus on their child.

02

Emotional Support & Community

Connection with other families who understand this exact journey, so no one sits in a hospital hallway feeling like they're the only one.

03

Comfort During Hospital Stays

Care packages and comfort items for long admissions, built around the small things that make an unfamiliar hospital room feel a little more like home.

04

Advocacy & Awareness

Raising awareness of congenital heart disease and advocating for the needs of heart families within the broader healthcare system.

The Journey

We show up at every stage

Congenital heart disease doesn't move in a straight line, but families tend to move through the same broad seasons. Here's how we walk alongside them.

Stage 1

Diagnosis

The moment everything changes. We offer a first point of contact, information, and reassurance that this family is no longer facing it alone.

Stage 2

Hospital & Treatment

Long admissions, surgeries, and uncertainty. We help ease the practical burden so parents can stay focused on their child.

Stage 3

Coming Home

A new normal begins. We help families adjust to life after discharge, from follow-up care to everyday routines.

Stage 4

Ongoing Support

CHD is often a lifelong journey. Our community stays connected well beyond the hospital doors.

You are not alone in this.

If you're a parent reading this in a hospital room right now — we see you. The fear, the exhaustion, the fierce love that keeps you going. This foundation exists because someone else understood exactly what you're carrying, and decided no family should carry it by themselves.

In loving memory of Myles Liam Edouard
